12 modern and spacious self-contained studio units – sleep 1 – 3 guests.
The bedding configuration in all studios is a queen-size bed and a double sofa sleeper. For your added comfort all queen-size beds have an electric blanket. Each studio has a generous sized ensuite bathroom with shower, heated towel rail, heated mirror and hair dryer. All our studios have a fully-equipped kitchenette including microwave, two hot plates, electric fry pan, pots, electric jug, toaster, crockery, cutlery, coffee plunger etc. A range of complimentary teas and coffees also hot chocolate and milo is provided for your enjoyment.
Facilities
For our guests convenience whilst walking the Queen Charlotte Track or visiting the Marlborough sounds, we can offer secure luggage storage in our lockup area. Off-street parking is available for guest vehicles only. Guest’s laundry washer and dryer facilities are available or there is an outside drying facility available for those guests who would prefer to have the Picton sun and breeze dry their laundry. Complimentary laundry powder provided.

Harbour View Motel offers 4 STAR PLUS ACCOMMODATION in the heart of Picton, just a five minute stroll to restaurants, cafes, supermarket, postal and banking facilities.
Tariffs: $120.00 - $170.00 per night 2 persons
Extra person $15.00 per night. Seasonal rates apply
Peak Season: December - April
All tariffs are in NZ dollars and include GST.

Cancellations
A minimum of 24 hours notice is required by this property for cancellations. Cancellations made within 24 hours of check in time, forfeit the full amount for the first night cancelled.
Arrival and departures
Check in time is 1.00pm, however, guests arriving prior to this time, may be provided with their room if it is available.
Guaranteed access to rooms prior to 1.00pm can only be provided if the reservation includes the prior night.
Check out time is 10.00am. Late checkouts may, on occasions, be possible, but only by prior arrangement. Consideration must be given at all times to the preparation of the units for in coming guests.
Payment
Payment for guests staying only one night must be made in full at the time of arrival. Payment for guests staying longer than one night must be made in full on the morning of departure if not before. Overdue/recovery charges may be made for accounts not paid on time.
Visitors/damage
No visitors are permitted in units after 10pm. Any damage to the room or property may be charged, plus a charge for any resultant loss of income if applicable. As this complex has limited parking space, visitors with vehicles must leave them on the street. In consideration of all our guests, please keep noise levels to a minimum at all times.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in any of the units. There are ash trays supplied on the balconies for your use. If you are smoking please give consideration to other guests. If you do smoke in any of the units then you will be charged appropriate cleaning, damage and loss of income costs.
Cooking
The cooking of odoriferous foods is not permitted in our units. This is to avoid lingering food odour that may be offensive to subsequent guests. We reserve the right to charge an additional night’s accommodation and any additional cleaning costs for bedspreads, drapes and carpets should the unit be left with any odour resulting in loss of income.
Pets
This facility does not permit animals/birds in the units under any circumstances. The exception being Seeing Eye Dogs by arrangement. If there is any evidence of animals/birds having been in a unit then we reserve the right to charge for the appropriate cleaning, damage and loss of income.
