Charming, laidback Picton is the starting point for many Marlborough Sounds Adventures. Explore the sheltered waterways, sea kayaking, walking or simply view the wonderful scenery of the Queen Charlotte Sound from one of the many launch services available.
The Queen Charlotte Track is known as one of the South Islands best walking tracks, situated a short boat ride from Picton.
Dolphins and seals are frequently seen, pleasure boats abound and it really is a boatie’s paradise. The experienced Launch operators offer daily services that visit remote sounds properties in this tranquil and peaceful waterway.
Our Picton foreshore offers safe swimming, children’s playground, mini golf, museum and the historic ship – Edwin Fox, along with waterfront cafes for your enjoyment.
A short twenty minute drive from Picton is Marlborough’s vineyards. Marlborough has around 60 premier vineyards and boutique wineries as well as offering tastings, some have restaurants and café style dining.
Whilst in the Blenheim area a visit to the Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre is highly
recommended. The Heritage Centre has the world’s largest collection of First World War planes.

Valid credit card details, bank deposit or cheque are required to confirm and complete the booking process.
Cancellation Policy
Any cancellation must be received at least 24 hours prior to arrival to avoid penalty of one night’s accommodation at reservation rate.
Failure to arrive – full amount of reservation will be charged.
